Dramatically cheaper Titanium sounds like dramatically cheaper titanium engine parts to me. Ti rods anyone?

Batteries that don't die + charge nearly instantly... I believe they would be able to discharge very quickly too, so there'd be a lot of power available to starters and big stereos. It would be great for hybrid cars, like the article mentions.

forget machining as that is what make TI rods pricey.
