its seriously a shot in the dark, even places ive went through could sell you a bunk engine, usually why the extra $$ is worth it for a dealer on this site as they have a reputation to uphold and these other companies are a dime a dozen and go in and out of business (one even closed shop after they finally took my junk 1jz engine they sent me back). ask for pictures of the engine mainly to see the alt + bracket and power steering pump condition.. ive gotten engines that needed a new ps pump and the alt bracket was broken off
