One of my neighbors has a go-cart and he wants me to help fix it. He's saying it wont start now but when it did, it would pop and stall on him whenever he hit the gas. It sounds like its flooding. I'm guessing the spark plug(s) is bad?

a way to check plug..is to remove the plug from head. Then conect wire back to plug. Lay plug and wire back on head...(not in hole) and pull. With ign on...you should see strong blue flashes of spark. If not...bad plug...or ign system. Check air filter....if really dirty...it could make it act weird. Im leaning toward fowled plug. Get another plug and try a new one. BTW, what engine is it? I work on go-karts and mowers all the time.

You'll need to find out what brand motor it is though. A briggs n straton is different than a honda....etc... Im guessing its a briggs.....i run champions in my toys....iirc its either "cj6" or "c6j" its one of the two. Its dark so i cant see the motors here.
