Have any of you painted the inside of a block with glyptal? I fear I'll spark a firestorm with this question, but I'm genuinely curious. After I noticed this stuff for sale at Eastwood, I did a little surfing and came across some old-timers with American muscle who think it helps. Personally it scares me, but what do I know?

I wouldn't bother, it was done in the old days in SBC's as they had drainback issues that would starve the engine as so much was pumped topside (restrictor kits helped)
Just smooth off any casting flash and deburr the sharp edges and a 7M is good to go
