Yesterday I Managed to land myself a T61 for Dirt cheap, I checked for damages axial play and radial play its good. And this is the beginning of my gte/ge hybrid. As of my mk3 is running ge, but i will be using a gte block on that i already have, so here is my list of things to get.
-clevite bearings
-Safc
-BC stage 3 cams
-Ferra springs rate @ 70lbs and valves, standard size.
-Arp everything
-Spec clutch stage 5 for w58
-hks stopper 2mm
-gte 420's
-walbro 255
-aeromotive afpr
-Wideband
-And using a ge head with ge electronics.
s going to try to tune up to 350, and then push onward to 450.
