GE block using gte oil filter relocator?

I read that there is a plug that is screwed into the GE block and can be taken out. Also the gte has a stud on the block to hold the relocator in place. I'm building my turbo motor using a GE block so can I just take out that screw and drill and tap a stud to bolt it on to the block?

You want the NA stud!! You don't have to change anything. The Canton adapter is the best for us IMO,(I did the NA-T) It is the the GTE guys that have to remove there stud and put the GE stud in! Unless your want stock GTE oil system(It is garbage, not a opinion, FACT) Go full flow thermostat controlled, jdub has a good thread.
