Well I removed pretty much everything to get to the starter.

Well, Starter problem fixed :icon_bigg , but putting it back together sucks.
I bought new intake manifold gaskets and used a liquid messy sealer and torqued the manifold according to the TSRM.

BUT, I have a gas line that doesn't have a home (I can't find the end of it). I have the one connected to the left side of the fuel rail, but what about the other one down there? It's got a metal looking line with the bolts that have the holes in it for gas to come through. Can anyone help?

This is the only thing keeping my car from running!

You should have 3 lines going to the fuel rail. One on each end and one in the middle. The one in the middle goes to the CSI, it has banjo bolts on both ends and the line is somewhat flexable. The one towards the firewall is a larger line with banjo bolts on both ends. That line looks like a set of crooked stairs. It gets a pressure thing on top of the fuelrail and goes to the return under the Intake manifold. The front line, the feed, I don't remember how that one is attached other than a vacume line goes to the pressure regulator, I have a different in line as I have a FPR hooked up.
The banjo fittings have two copper washers on both sides of the banjo to seal them. You may have to get new washers, I've used the old with a 50-50 success.

Please elaborate on this a little please. Using a liquid sealer on intake runners is not a good idea at all.

I used the sealer to seal off the gaskets, making sure they didn't get into the intake piping itself.

And I only have two gas lines on my fuel rail

And only 2 coming from under the car

Are you NA or Turbo? My 88NA has 3, like I said 1 in, 1 out, and 1 for the CSI.

If you guys (7m-ge owners) have time could you take pics around the fuel rail and under the intake manifold area?

Thanks guys :D

EDIT : I'm a 1987 n/a (hence the ge forum). I have 2 lines that go from under the car by the tranny and go up, and I can't find out where they lead to.

One is the line in from the tank and the other is the return.

Here's a better description. I have the line hooked up that goes on the left side of the fuel rail. There's what looks like a fuel filter on the right end of my fuel rail and I see nothing in the middle besides a bolt holding the rail to the engine.

CAR RUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....................................................

But idle = 3k :(
Your welcome. Idle at 3K? Check your linkage to the TB. If you had all that off and didn't change anything the linkage maybe bound up someplace. Check your ISC connections and the other connections that you had off.
