Games to play on laptop

Chasing suggestions for games to play on my laptop

1.7ghz with 1gb ram etc

age isnt an issue just after some suggestions which arent as mouse dependant as games like starcraft etc as using the touch pad flat out to and from work on the train is taxing on the wrist.

im not after brand spanking games but i know you guys have played plenty of games throughout the years. i played a bit of civilization 3 which was good but need something else.

throw some suggestions at me that youve played over the years

Dude, we need more specs on your laptop. Graphics card? Processor type and cache? Age? Stuff like that.

Depends, I think there have been some Centrino chipset systems lately that are running 1.6 and 7 that I'm sure you could've ordered nVidia's or something.

Thats why I asked age, I wasn't sure if its a newer one w/ the just a low clock speed or a way back one with like an original P4 1.7.

Buy a mouse? To many games are mouse dependent.

What about Need for Speed Most Wanted? Good game, and can be used with the keyboard.

I had trouble running MW on my fairly high-spec desktop.
Iono tho, Underground may not run smoothly either.
