I wonder what sort of clearances you have to use for the bearings and if you have to go through all the plastiguage stuff with that too. I want a kit to put together. And when I do, I want some louder pipes to let it sing.

I've seen those ones before, the difference here is size, and every single piece is design, and built from scratch. The links you are giving are motors that get most of their parts (cylinders, valvetrain etc from the model airplane industry)

If you watch the link I gave. It actually shows him making nearly every single part from solid blocks of steel/aluminium.
