So, I commute thru East Palo Alto 4 days a week. For those of you in the Bay, you know what I mean. For those of you else where, imagine the most ghetto place you can in your area, then multiply it a few times. East Palo Alto Wikipedia (check out the homicide stats and poverty level)
The upside is I get to see all kinds of cars that shouldn't exist, and get good laughs about them. Aside from the usual ghetto fabuloso 80 GMs with 28", 450 spoke gold-colored rims, there are plenty of other hideous contraptions.

Today I saw one particularly painful. This is very offensive material. Please do not view this with young children in the room.

Picture with me, if you can, a wing from a MkIV Supra.
Picture with me, if you can, an early 90's Honda Accord sedan.
Picture with me, if you can, the MkIV wing ON the Accord.

I know. Painful, huh. :puke:

Anyone else have any recent sightings that you wish you could erase from memory?

there's a cougar in town with a MkIV wing....i'd junk the car, but the chick driving it is pretty hot

but the mustang in town has her beat by far....looks like a freaking half eaten creamsicle with a body kit, triple deck spoiler, saleen stickers all over, and a V6

Triple deck spoiler???? That shouldn't even be made. Ewww...

What I loved was that the wing on the Accord was a much darker green than the car and that there was what looked like at least an inch and a half of trunk on both sides of the wing.

I've seen all sorts of bad things on cars but it's really not such a big deal that it was "painful" or that I'd want to "erase it from my memory".

The best part about half assed ricers is that I can laugh at them for having a car that is not only way slower than mine, but even more ugly.
booyah.

I know, I wish I had my camera around, but he was going by and I was stopped, I only got to see him for a few seconds. It made me laugh, none the less.

Palo Alto sounds alot like Port Arthur (ever heard of the Dirty South?:3d_frown: ). I came very close to getting jumped there several times while delivering pizza and had my radio stolen. The funny part is that all my problems ended when I removed this horrible body kit.

Agree with MkIII Noob, that thing is scary.

BTW, Greg, interesting thing here: I was talking about East Palo Alto. Its actually a separate city. Palo Alto (wiki) is just right next and is one of the nicest, most affluent, expensive cities in the country. Its the home of Stanford Univ. Its really funny, you go over Hwy 101 and all ths sudden you've left ghetto area and you're in multi-million dollar home territory.

But yeah. That Integra body kit scares me. Almost as much as the MkIV wing on the Accord.

Another recent trend, is this just CA or the entire country?:
a) Escalade wheels on Suburbans/Yukons
b) Escalade front fascia & wheels on Silverados

Cuz these also make me cringe. Oh, yeah, last one. This also in East Palo Alto. A Civic with BMW badges, M badges, and a BMW license plate frame. Its attached. Its on my phone so its really crappy quality. Sorry.

that thing youre talking about the escalade with the blah blah blah...im assuming because they share the same chassis its easy to just interchange parts which is why they do that, just like how some people well one person converted the front of thier mkiii with a soarer...and so on, its just thier little thing to make thier car unique. frankly i dont mind about the domestics, but that BMW civic Mseries... is pretty ti...gay, but it kind of fits a little, i mean if they lowered the car and put bimmer wheels then blaym there goes your japanese bimmer. pretty damn clever.

Yeah, I know its easy to intercahnge the 'Slade parts n stuff, but its not unique anymore with the amount of people that have done it. Just, ugly and played out. Iono.

And I wish I had seen the front of the BMW Civic. I wonder if he'd done anything to it. I still say some things should never happen, tho...

Oh, my bad, I was thinking a 300 front on a Ram pickup. LOL.

I read somewhere that DCX is actually selling that in a foreign market, I believe an Asian market, perhaps Japan, but I really can't remember.
