id imagine it could be done but then youd need to cut the metal joint off the end thats on the car as well... imho id by a new hanger for the fuel pump

this happened to my friend, so we used some fuel injection hose from autzone, stuff was 3.99 / FT... not cheap. and used 2 clamps on each size, no leaks what so ever... and his fuel pressure has gone as high at 65ish psi...

we only had like a 3'' gap though, so it wasnt like i used this stuff for the entire system.

Replace the hanger, it's not fun seeing your car go up in flames.

I'm with Gunnar, to many supra's have went up in flames this year already. Do it right so your's isn't next. Look for some one parting out a supra is F/S. I am guessing they will sell it pretty cheap, as it's not a part I see alot of people asking about.

you can even go to some place like OSH and get compression fittings
they look like brass nuts that go on top of a hollow brass bolt
they have these rings inside that squeeze your metal tubing when tightened

just make sure you have the right fuel line and a good tubing cutter
then you should have no problems.

thats what i did farther on my fuel hard line where it broke and it works like magic

one other thing, try not to wiggle it too much after or it might leak

Everyone learns about safety some day.

My day was when i was driving my baja beetle over a speedbump and the engine cut out.
So i crawled under it to check if the fuelline had come off, while wigling that thing, the fuelline just pulled off the metal tube that went alongside the shroud. so there i was fuel pouring all over my chest and arms, trying to stick that thing back on. Then when i crawled form under it i noticed the reason for the engine cutting out was the wire going to the coil had been knocked loose.
So i had the ignition on, chest covered in fuel and a loose wire dangling next to a metal cooling shroud........

That day i swore to allways think about safety when doing work on cars and especialy when it comes to fuel etc.

The thing with your lines is they are corroded probably, and it's not just that one part that's corroded the rest of the line will have suffered too.
Take the safe route and replace the hanger, and the rubber seals. While you are at it, check the filler neck too, another great toyota design to trap wet mud and winter salt.
