have a metal on metal piercing type squeal coming from "sounds like" along the fuel rail/intake manifold area,
intake manifold, injector o-rings/grommets/throttle body gasket/iscv gasket have been replaced. the squeal sadly remains.
reacts to how cold it is as well. sometimes it is barely audible and if it randomly gets louder my idle will immediately be affected and bog down and behave erraticly.
tps sensor has been replaced, not sure where else to go with this.
also, the car wil not stay running if the idle adjustment screw(the one that is perpendicular facing towards the front of the car that should be fully closed) is halfway open. otherwise the idle does not stay high enough and steady enough for the car to run, it simply dies.
purchased the iscv diaphram as im thinking it may have failed closed?
just wondering if there is anything else im missing?
someone mentioned to me of a "dashpot" (<-unsure of spelling) along the fuel rail inbetween a set of injectors that could give me a vacuum leak? can anyone confirm this?
thanks, searched but couldnt find anything additional to this issue.
