front lip... what to do w/ it?

so, I have a trust replica from shine auto... and it has some areas that have rather severe sanding marks... what did you guys do?

i was thinking of trying to sand it down fine and polish it.... would that even work w/ this type of material? (or could i sand and polish the whole thing to get the same texture?)

my main concern w/ paint, is I know it will be scraping at some point, so I don't want it to look tacky as hell

should it be painted? I was concidering using this weather trim paint... honestly though, I don't know what to do. That's why i'm asking for advice.

lol... i want to put it on... just havn't gotten the suspension yet (in other word's it would look plain goofy right now)

Sand it down primer it spray paint it black or try to color match with duplicolor touch up paint.
