Fog light rewire

i am trying to rewire my fog lights so they work independanty from the normal lights. in other words, i'll be able to turn them on and off by themselves.

i am following these instructions: http://the-ish.com/supra/?p=13 Note how it says the wire goes into the top-right terminal.

unfortunately, halfway through the process, i am stuck. i am on step 5. it says to locate the red WITH black stripe wire, but i dont have one.

if anyone has done this with their lights, please be so kind as to give me a shot of guidance. i have an '88, if that helps.

you have an '88. you have to follow the directions for a pre-'89 car. there was JUST a thread on this. you should use the search function.
