I think my rad cap is not working so need to replace it. It is a 16psi cap and wondering if I must replace it with the same part or if I can use a stock part?

heh oddly enough i need the same enough i havent looked yet though...but im 99% sure my cap is starting to leak...
have you pulled the sticker off the cap? when I did there was a few drops of fluid there and probably came through where the spring assembly was installed. Check yours out.
when the car is warmed up and the radiator hose is pressureirzed i can hear a hissing from the cap area....
i also have some boiling over in the overflow bottle..... so im assuming the two are connected and its time for a new cap...its been over 4 years lol
