BUT, I can't find a block local, and I am in florida until tuesday, so... If you can, please leave this thread here until then.
I need a turbo block(all I need is a bare block), or shortblock assembly. Doesn't matter if it the rotating assembly works or not. Hell, it doens't even have to be a turbo block. I will be fine with a little work on an N/A.
Now, what I need is:
Decent Deck surface, good main journals, and good cylinders in standard bore.
This is just for a beater motor, will not see anything over stock boost or any hard running. I would just make the car N/A, but I don't see the point of converting the wrong direction. The cheaper the better.
I am in orlando for a few days, and am in need of a block, so let me know if you have one. My internet access is limited in this hotel, so...
