hey guys today i got the motor all ready to start her up, the supras been sitting for about a year and now everythings set for me to start it. i hook up the battery and my power wire to the push button start, i turn the key and push the button. all i hear is the starter spinning and engaging the flywheel but no start up. i take the number 1 spark plug out to see if i get spark. i turn the key, no sprark and the car loses all power with little smoke coming from the pos side battery like i blew something, then when i try to start her again all i hear is a click. i bought the engine online and im going to run a compression test once i got time to buy it and test it. are there anymore tests i could run to diagnose my problem here??
oh and im using GE spark plugs.. dunno if that makes a difference
