Okay so i had recently noticed that my Supra has a slight misfire at idle, and sometimes during normal driving, i checked the timing, vacuum leaks, nothing. i checked the spark plugs, i noticed the wireset boots and plug surroundings were covered in oil but i dont know where the oil is coming from, i got all six plugs replaced, also the distributor cap and rotor, wires are a couple months new, and i still notice a misfire, what could be causing the misfire now that ignition components are working fine and new? and where would the oil be coming from that causes the spark plug valley to be somewhat covered in oil, no traces from the upper cover though, any ideas? let me know, thanks

Seriously guys?

Oil is bad.

Its likely that its coming from somewhere ABOVE where its settling, Gravity and all you know?

Check the valve covers, Its common for them to leak.

Valve covers tend to Leak a lot. But i've noticed lately that i had a loose Hex key bolt, or the large Allen Head Bolt, that holds the metal center piece down. :] Check it.

I had a similar problem.not the oilthing. it was an old cable between coil and sparkplug that made the spark occure between the cable and the engine instead of at the end of the sparkplug.
