saw this on another forum & thought id pass it on...

I'm sure a lot of you guys have seen this on Facebook already, but for those who haven't, I am sharing on the forum. We work very closely with TiAL and we have also had these kinds of issues with other companies trying to copy our products. TiAL has confirmed another knock off of their newer watercooled MV-S wastegate (seen below):

"It's Confirmed guys, these are fake 'watercooled' units that were being sold on ebay by relentless_performance. Coincidentally that username just happened to have the exact same address as XS-power and ssautochrome. Avoid these at all costs!!"

Please be sure you buy the real quality parts from approved vendors or from the actual company direct!

Get what you pay for you know? Always, always, always buy stuff like this from authorized vendors, unless whoever you're buying it from can prove it is legit... It's a cheap insurance really. Also, water cooled wastegate? What the hell does a wastegate need cooling for?

They are mostly used in racing for reliability. The wastegate works so much that it never gets a chance to cool down so water cooling keeps it from destroying itself.
