f#%*?!@# SSQV still surging...

work in progress
After much frustration and searching I have finally resorted to posting a thread about it. Ever since I have gotten this HKS SSQV *used* I have not been able to get rid of the surging. Just tonight I even took the filter off the vacuum source, and still surge. I have turned the screw in all the way, and out all the way and everywhere inbetween. Seems like no matter what I do, I have surge.
Is it:
A. Not a strong enough vacuum scource going to the BOV
B. Something wrong with the BOV
C. Something not related to the BOV at all

Thanks in advance,
Skim

it may be:
a. none of the above
b. all of the above
c. some of the above

check your vacuum source. is it good?
check your vacuum at idle. is that good?

if you have a good vacuum source there is probably something wrong with the BOV. whether it is mis adjusted or faulty that is for you to figure out.

had this problem with ssqv (adjustable aswell..... which your not supposed to adjust btw) bought a new ssqv (no adjuster) and problem solved. I still get surge sometimes but it's because I'm venting to atmosphere w/ afm, and usually I ask for it.
