there is VERY little platinum in a cat...

we're talking MINUSCULE, it's about one atom thick on the matrix...

but you live in cali, so they where like "Oh shit, I can't pass inspection, and I'm too poor to repair it correctly, so I'll just steeal it"

The bucket was in a safe spot (although, it was outside). A lot of people park their cars outside and don't expect to have them stolen, either ;). Anyway, the painters of course denied taking it. Oh well, hopefully they get in a wreck and die.

well a car is locked up lol. A bucket has a nifty handle and everything, and nobody questions some painters carrying a bucket to a van. I live in a terrible neighborhood and you cant leave anything outside. I was stipping emissions parts off my s10, i put all the parts in a crate (air pump, egr setup, lots of rubber hoses, etc) and someone stole that. What is the point?

There have been a lot of Tundras having their cats stolen (there are 4 on each truck). They're not cheap to replace. Also, oddly enough, a lot of spare tires have been stolen. We install spare tire locks on all Tundras that we PDI now.
