Anyone wanting to use a external Idle Speed Control vallve will probably need an external Check valve to keep boost from leaking out when boosting. I bought and tested an Anver 1/2" vacuum check valve to do the job, and it so far lets the car idle up to 2k rpms when fully open.

I use a late 80's > 90's Ford ICS that plumbs in from the IC Pipe just before the TB to the Manifold just behind the TB so no need for a check or a filter ;)
I would have needed to relocate the fitting from behind the Intake, and put the fittings up front, or run a long ugly hose IJ. This way it looks just like in the picture with the hose and vacuum check and filter unter the intake out of sight!

How does that work for you? I always thought it was a bad idea because there can be situatons where there can be boost pushing against the valve (live before the BOV opens, or if it's broken), and that can be bad for some ISCVs.
