I am about to swap from a 1987 turbo 5spd to a 1989 turbo auto. But I'm converting it to a 5spd. If there's an experienced supra owner around, can I get some help here? This whole neutral safety switch crap and reverse lights stuff completely confuses me since I suck at electrical stuff

Reverse lights are plug and Play. Nsw you just jump 2 terminals on the connector. Not hard.

Im about an hour away, but if you do really need the help i can make the drive down. Ive pulled 2 7ms and installed 1. Nothing to hard.

Dub- I would but that wouldnt help me since the shell that I'm swapping into is here at my place, and I blew out my differential wednesday lol

hvyman- that whole jumping terminals terminology is like speaking chinese to me. I'm retarded when it comes to electrical.

You just take like a male spade crimp connector or what ever it's called and stick it in one slot and stick the other. Thunk it'd the black and white wires. Just like checking for codes tho it's permanent. Can even just cut them and twist together and solder.

Ok just let me know! I'm only really free mid next week, as the holiday and then Friday ill be putting a rebuilt 7mgte in MY car haha. I have 3 parts 7ms as well as a full car, if you need any parts LMK!
