Ive been having troubles with the exhaust manifold nuts coming loose. I have to keep tightening them back up and I dont want to have this issue anymore.

Since its been leaking, Im just going to put in a new exhaust mani gasket when I put on the 57 trim.

What would be a suitable lock nut for this and its size?

Best to go to the dealer and get them - not that expensive. Make sure to use the TSRM torque spec - the studs have a nasty habit of stripping.

I did the swap today and just ended up using grade 8 nuts which were 10m x 1.25 with a serrated bottom.

Found out why the manifold started to leak. The rear most stud had pulled out of the head so I had the fun of drilling, tapping and heli-coiling it. Luckly the stud was in great shape still so I reused it. Everything went back together smoothly and absolutely no more leaks. Plus the car is now much faster with the 57 trim :)
