ok i have been doing so searching and have came across a company that Eproms the 7mgte ecu. i really like this idea to to the fact that there's no extra wiring and you still keep the stock built in safties. the set up also uses the lex combo
i recently called the company and had no luck for the past couple of days to get a hold of any one, :aigo: i really would like to know if they still chip the ecu's and If there any one here that has on on there supra

the link that im talking about http://www.suprasonic.org/sonictech/techtom/

Techtom is legit, but ias I recall, it's around 1100 just for the daughter board install and basic tune, and they're "hit or miss" with no real way to get a full feedback tune.

correct me if im wrong but ist the stock settingskind of broad ? i thought that the eprom would be a better choice the just going to lex, fuel piggy back tuner, pump, injector, fpr rought because its alot of stuff to be tweeking. wile the eprom it just cash, ecu, and maybe a piggyback for fin tuning
well for my set up that is im not trying to go for alot of hp maybe 400 at the most

400?

No need for a techtom upgrade then.
yeah i know that i really dont need it but i like to have the option of just placing a chip in and uping my hp as oposed to tweeking this and that but most likely im just going to go with the lex combo and my safc

but is this still being done does any one know and does anyone have this on there car ???

I had a techtom rom board in my 91 supra with the vpc. Worked great and no need for an FCON. They can totally remove or move the fuel cut point, change rev limit, etc. Very nice.

They are doing alot of nissans now, check out some nissan forums for feedback.

I just visited them last week, and they are still doing the rom upgrades. Give them a call and ask for Tadashi.
