I am winding down my GE to GTE conversion and have a question about the engine torque damper that bic sells a replacement for. It appears to me that it bolts to the engine mount. Do all the mounts have the holes for the bolts on them? I haven't seen any on my mounts. Can I see some photos of where they actually bolt? The picture on the bic site leaves a lot to be desired on that front. Thanks guys.

I don't know if you found the answer yet but I just installed one. The lower (angled) bracket on the damper screws into two empty bolt holes on the subframe. You'll probably need to clean them out by running an M8x1.25 tap since they are typically full of gunk. The 90* bracket on the damper screws into the tranny support wing. I ran into a small problem with the top of their damper hitting my fuel line. I moved my fuel line out a bit and it fit fine.

I had similar questions and they sent me a link to this pic which helped a lot: http://www.www.bicperformance.com/pics/bic products/torquedamper/89TQdamperinstalled (Medium).JPG
