hi own a 89 supra tried to do a engine swap with 2jz gte i have no idea where to star anybody knows a good shop around my area i lived in san diego county.my car is been park for a long time triying to save some money.no idea how much will cost to do the swap anybody knows who can get my car running again.THANK'S MARCO

Thank's for the info.the reason i going to 2 jz gte is because i think i will have less problems with this motor but not sure where to star.this is something i can do my self or is alittle bit complicated.
Have you already bought the motor?
If not, whats your budget?
Cause a 2j swap is crazy money...
Not to mention it sounds like you dont know what
your doing at all so im assuming your gonna have a shop
do it and thats another shit load of money your gonna have
to deal out and unless its a very reputable shop and have
done 1j, 2j swaps before they are gonna mess shit up,
its almost inevitable.
I know the 2j motor alone is about $3k.
And thats not to mention all the adapters you have to
get, motor mounts, ECU harness, bellhousing intercooler, etc etc.

Not really the case. I know a shop in Santa Fe springs,ca . That do swaps. 1hz-2500 ,2jzgtte for 2900
