Engine Stuttering in Boost

Will running extra rich in low boost cause the engine to stutter? I have an AEM wideband hooked up and it shows "10.0" (lowest #) so I'm sure it's even lower then that. My engine starts to stutter at around 5-6psi, I hit fuel cut around 8-9psi (61mm turbo, huge IC, big pipes). I have a Tial Wastegate with a 0.5bar (7psi) spring as well. Would holding boost around the spring rate cause the stuttering? I try to hold it there around 5-6psi because it wants to climb really fast and hit fuel cut but I try not to let it (until I get the MAFTPRO).

I cruise around at 10.9-12.0 A/F as well.... and about 12.5 on the highway with no boost, so I think I'm running rich in general.

Any suggestions what is causing this stuttering?

Really? I Just had the hardpipes custom made again, and now they're welded to make much fewer peices, I can't believe it's boost leak, I guess it could be.... aaah.

I should get a boost leak tester thing. I know you can make them, but is there a read made kit I can buy? I have a 4" intake on the turbo, and 2.5" hardpipes.

I've seen them around pre made, but its like the same thing as if you made it yourself, but they charge more, you eat shipping costs, and have to wait for it to come. I say hit up home depot, spend a few dollars, and get it done in no time :)

Gotta be a boost leak, you;re losing air making you run pig rich and studder, and you're hitting fuel cut early fuel cut is determined on how much air the afm sees(Translated into a voltage) , if you are losing air, it takes ALOT more air thru the afm to get to say 8-9 psi than it should so you hit cut, you're pulling say 14-15 psi worth of air, and losing most of it somewhere so youre only seeing 8-9 at the manifold)
