Valve Medic Bottle. Some other sort to thicken that areas in the engine but if its your valves begining to tick good luck n put some oil in !

Lets see here.. injectors tick, valves can tick if not adjusted properly, and another thing to consider would be the gear for the timing belt on your crank. Sometimes the keyway can get waffled out and that will create a ticking noise. My suggestion is to do some stethoscoping around.. that is how I personally find the source of my problems.

we have loud injectors too. I too have the dreaded ticking. Mine is just piston noise. Not hurting anything, and people think i'm crazy because I can hear it and they cant. Good stuff...

Does it get louder under load?? Exhaust leaks and rod knock sounds tend to get louder under load. Tappets and injectors don't.

Yes honey-ing the oil is a notoriously bad idea.

You're going to have a fair amount of ticking it's what these jap engines do.
Just because you can hear it doesn't mean it's malfunctioning.

If it's being heard in the cab with the bonnet down.
You may have a bigger issue.
