Well first off I searched and then searched again, to no prevail.
My car is an 87 turbo and the mods that would be of importance to the issue at hand are rc 550s lexus afm fuel elbow delete walbro pump.
The issue is when I start the car it starts great first turn type of ordeal. But If I open the throttle even a little bit it bogs down and dies, much like pulling air from somewhere.
Now if I unplug my afm it will rev a little bit but when boost comes in it pops a bit and likes to backfire. but will remain running.
The afrs arnt too bad from what I was whatching between 11-14
Im at a slight loss as to what is going on in there. My timing is at 10 degrees with the jumper. my ecu isnt sending me any readable codes. And also I dont know if this is all that important but the tach isnt working either.
All in all its kinda a pain in my but at the moment any help or suggestions are highly appreciated. I have plenty of rescources to check systems but am at a loss as to where to check. As all the electronics ran perfect last year on a different car that I swapped to a 2jz.
Thanks,
-Sean
