hey everyone,

I decided I had too many wires running through my engine bay among other things and I got a little creative with the rewire and my 200 amp relay that charges both of my batteries. I removed the drives side fender and I'm going to be running the power wires through there along with the relay that I found a perfect mounting spot for. I'm not done yet because I'm waiting for my wire to get here, I've got some really good wire from stinger thats is a flat 0g thats flexable (took a picture of the sample i had)

I've got some before and after pics, let me know what you all think.

Big is good. I dunno how many amps sheet metal screws can handle but that wire will probably take more ;)

so you must be an electrical nut like me (hence expert lol)... i do audio installs but i also do mechanical work. i just really like doing electrical work. and for the sheet metal screws eh, its what was put on there oringinally by a head installer when we were doing the project so he knows his shit and im not gonna argue with him.:biglaugh: and as for the 0g wire i believe it can take upward ofl ike 3000watts.

which plastic covers are you talking about? the ones with the ripples in them or the smooth oens? the smooth ones are actually vacuume hose.

Did you ground from the alternator to the neg battery post? I can't tell from the pictures.

yeah, when we installed it we figured that would be the best way to go... with the extra support that the battery would give it + the chassis ground.

here are some of the specs for the battery.
3100+ max amps
1500 Amps 5 Second Burst Power
Only 2.5mOhms = Ultra Fast Power Response
68Ah Rating
Sealed Design Can Be Mounted In Any position.
