Emissions Help

Need some help with emissions. For the second test I changed the plugs and leaned it out quite a bit, to the point where my WBO2 read 18 or more. After the second test I added some more fuel. Is that going to change my HC? I thought HC was ignition but does the lean condition cause ignition issues like misfires? I can post other info if you need.

Thanks!

Test 1:
IDLE: 928 RPM
CO2 (%): 8.67
O2 (%): 2.21
HC (PPM): 2590 Measured (220 Max)
CO (%): 7.400 Measured (1.2 Max)

2500 RPM
CO2 (%): 12.43
O2 (%): 0.40
HC (PPM): 315 Measured (220 Max)
CO (%): 3.382 Measured (1.2 Max)

Test 2:
IDLE: 760 RPM
CO2 (%): 7.99
O2 (%): 9.32
HC (PPM): 2068 Measured (220 Max)
CO (%): 0.171 Measured (1.2 Max)

2500 RPM
CO2 (%): 8.35
O2 (%): 8.65
HC (PPM): 1263 Measured (220 Max)
CO (%): 0.312 Measured (1.2 Max)

The first test was very rich, at least at 2500 rpm. The idle portion doesn't make sense. Sure those numbers are correct? And why is the idle so high?

The second test is very lean. Whatever you're doing to make that happen stop doing it and get the engine back into fuel control because it'll never pass until it is.

The numbers are correct.

The car has been sitting for 2 years. I have cams and adjustable cam gears. Cams have been degreed correctly and my adjustment on the cam gears are fine. It passed 2 years ago....I haven't changed anything since then other than fuel tables and ignition for WOT.

The idle for Test 1 had to do with bad plugs. I have fuel back in it near stoich (14.3 - 15.0). I haven't adjusted timing and I don't think I would have to...

I'll try again and see what numbers I get with the fuel in it.

I'm on MAFTPro speed density. I finally got the 2500 to pass but my idle is not working. Supposedly the guy said that if I can get 2500 to pass again he will set the idle to 2500 on the check station so it will pass....don't know if that is true or not.

Um...BC 264s, adjustable cam gears, built bottom end, no head work, stock ignition stuff, Walboro 255hp, aeromotive FPR, ATI damper, MAFTPro in speed density and timing.

Guy wasn't there today, hitting the place tomorrow to see if he can get me to pass on idle. Arg...hate fighting the stock ECU all the time...adjust the fuel and it goes back.
