alright folks:
the car has been giving me problems. it was running great and then in the middle of a pull it got sluggish ran like crap, and i glanced at the af ratio and it was in the 17:1 range! YIKES. i instantly let out. the car started running like crap, so long story short, i found out that i had blown the vaccuum line off the fuel pressure regulator. in the process of getting that figured out and running lean all the time, i think it ruined my spark plugs. now when i boost the car, it starts popping and sputtering at high rpms. the more boost, the more sputtering. could a lean mixture of knocking cause the plugs to go bad. i checked my timing, im only boosting 16psi, and the plugs that were in the car were brand new. whats going one???? right now the car is outside cooling down, and then im going to throw in some new plugs. i really want to go racing tonight. cross my fingers i guess. if you know whats going on, please call me at 509-781-2465. i might not be able to check the forum often cause im trying to prep my car to race tonight. i just don't understand. the car was running great, whats going on!?!?!?!
