electrical troubles

So i finally got a chance today to start with the restoration of my 87 supra
7M-GE.I figuerd the place i would start would be the electical.So i threw a battery in it and nothing happend.The only that works is my headlights and hazzards.No interior lights,no fog lights,the windows wont roll up and down,no power to the seat or the mirrors.Nothing works.The cover of my engine bay fuse box is missing and i dont know what any of the fuses are.I know there is one fuse deff. blown but the damn thing wont come out.So if there is anything,anything at all you could help me with i would much apreciate it.Thank You.

You threw a batteray in it?

Anyways. Check your grounds, such as your battery negative to chassis.

Im missing the fuse box cover.Therefore i dont know what fuse is what.

Check also the fuses under the driver's kick panel.

Awsome web site.Got everything i needed,so i thought.Ok heres a update.So i pulled the engine w/trans today.I can not seem to find a main power wire for everything on the inside to run to the battery.Is there one?Where is this thing at?Surely all the lil things inside(dash lights,fog lights,radio,HVAC control panel,dome light ect.) need power and a ground.
