My coworker had a small accident at work. He had repaired some faulty wiring on the fuel solenoid that was preventing it from runing. This is a 60kw 50/60 generator.

He noticed the positive cable was loose on the starting system. He went to tighten it, with the generator still running and it popped off in his hand. Ooops. He put it back on as fast as he could in a reaction. Ooops. Hence the term load dump. No more circuit board system. So the next time that jackass at Autozone tells you to just pull the cable while running, tell him to get bent.

tell me about it. my car has been down for a week due to a heater core. i only have a couple hours a night after work to fix it. i ordered a new one from autozone on sunday and it came in yesterday. i took it home, opened the box, and the "new" one looked to be in worse condition than the old one. i took it back to get my money back and they thought i had switched parts on them. i was able to prove that wasn't the case and they said they would send it back for another new one. autozone=FTL

Did you pay attention to what happened to the generator? Don't take your cables off when the car is running.

I get some things at autozone, like air fresheners. And oil.
