electric fan controller

so i bought an electric fan and controller a few months back.it works well...i just want to know if i can put that heat sensor thing in the fins of the radiator instead of the where the top radiator hose is..i want to hide the controller because all the wiers looks messy..if there any other place to put that sensor please give advice..thanks

are you talking about the thermostat housing because the sensor gives readings of the temp behind the t-stat. if it were on the radiator your temps would be cooler than they actually are.
