Try EGR* and VSV* (wildcards) and you'll get a good search ;)

Sounds like the VSV is bad.

Edit: Hold on...are you using a NA VSV for the EGR? In fact, are you using the entire NA EGR system?
And, are you using the turbo TB?

Wait a minute, is that what that is?? I have been trying to figure out what that damn clicking was for about 2 years. I thought it was my fuel pump, i didn't know if i was hearing from the front or the back. Hey try this, if have the car on, slowly turn the key toward the off position until the electronics turn off, you will see the guages go dead, but the car will still run. Do you hear the clicking then? When I do this I don't hear the clicking anymore, im wondering if that is it.

ill let you know once i get it running lol.
if you reach down and grab the VSV valve when its clicking you can feel everytime it clicks.

i checked operation per TSRM and it works. im gonna take out the other vsv tomorrow and see if i mixed em up.

sometimes it clicks when the key is off and other times it doesnt.... weird.
