EGR blockoff ???

I just read about blocking off the egr on my na is it a good idea or is not worth it all it said was unplug the vac line that goes to it will the buildup of exhaust gases in the head be a problem???

Hah, I didn't even know mine was blocked off till I looked. The previous owner CLAMPED both ends down and did what looks like a makeshift welding job to seal the deal.

Dont know what it would do for an N/A but Jdub said it cooled his exhaust gas temps considerably on his turbo.

Doesnt the jdm come with the egr already blocked off?If thats the case i have a set up LIPP block off plates just sitting never used,only touched and looked at

Yeah, the bum I bought my engine from bought a JDM one and gave me the blockoffs
