EGR block idea

Would threading a bolt into the EGR hole in the back of the head suffice as a block off, maybe some high temp RTV under the head of the bolt?

Sure would - if the hole were threaded. (I plan to use NPT plugs on mine)

Why just use the same method the JDM 7MGTE'S use. Mine works fine.
