This is on my buddies car. Everytime he launches the EFI fuse will blow. He even put a 20 amp in instead of the 15 amp, and it still blew. He just installed a MBC but has the boost set down at 7.5psi and it is still blowing the fuse. What is wrong with the car?

Mine did that once and I found a wire that was grounding it's self out. I fixed the wire so that it didn't touch and ground and it fixed the problem.
I had the same prob, but it was during rush hour doing 150km/h on the highway and the car just died, really scary.
Anyways the problem can be from many things:
Shorted grounds
old wires
modified wiring
dirty connectors ....etc.....
mine was a damaged ground cable(negative) coming of the battery. Good LUCK

I think it was actually one of the VSV wires. I had relocated mine off of the intake and onto the frame rail just beside it. I had to lengthen the wires with some bullet connectors and one came loose and was touching the motor mount.empera said:
