and would this be a straight bolt on or would i have to modify a couple of things?

I had a couple of issues with it personaly but still used it.

there is a thread on it make sure the manifold will clear your brake booster if your lhd but to be honest the price you are looking at for the ones one ebay from thailand with shipping will prob end up costing you the same as buying of one of the vendors.

I also presume you have taken other things into account such as new ic pipes throttle cable alternator relocation bracket (the pictured one looks the same as mine drop down bracket wouldnt work had to place it were my ac was)

The 1J doesnt have the alternator up there but the PS pump brake booster forward junctionbox /battery is in that area. Yea its a pain to deal and not so bolt on, but if you have 3" IC system with 4" IC large turbo heavily modded supra with new cams and plan a 80-90mm throttle body it maybe worth the time and hassle.
