Ebay Buyer Beware

Bad encounter with a Ebay company called Sparktec Motorsports. Bought defective part, returned part and took vendor over 2 months of arguing in order for them to refund. Continually gave excuses saying that Paypal was to blame. Never answers emails. Does not have a phone number. I believe it is some guy working out of his house. Think twice before buying from this company.

Did you pay with a credit card? I never use paypal where they withdraw from my bank accout, because you forfeit all your rights. Pay with a credit card and if they refuse to refund you, dispute with your credit card company.

Glad you got your refund though!

^^ I pay with my bank account and if they don't give me a refund my bank account givesme the refund and goes to fight for their money.

This thread will fade away, and people won't know that this company is bad.

I think it might be a good idea to start a "section" on this problem. Call it 'Buyer's Beware".

That way people can post there, and we could easily find out about these poorly run companies.

mrnickleye: There is already a section like that. It is the Buyer/Seller feedback section I am sure it could be expanded to included eBay sellers so everyone can know the good from the bad.

We had bought the OBX Positraction that we were testing out. Ended up being a piece of crap.
