I know this is a ground, but for what exactly? I mean the car starts and runs - but I was looking over some wiring and noticed that this wire wasn't connected. The wiring diagram shows ground ecu but has some dotted lines around the cam sensors that I am unsure about. I connected this to ground and didnt notice any real change in how the motor ran.

e2 is sensor ground(not chassis ground) for tps/map/coolant temp/air temp. The dotted lines are for shields.
Thanks aphxero - I fat fingered a 2 and was referring to E1- you explained what the dotted lines lines mean. E1 is main ecu ground??? Could explain why it runs kinda rich ...........maybe/hopefully :/
Bad sensor data? Check all the sensors out. I'd start with coolant temp and o2. e1 is ground for the diag box.
