e brake cable?

Well there are the two usual sources: new from Toyota, used from a parts car.

I'm pretty sure there's nothing very special about out e-brake cables, just steel rope (aircraft cable) you could probably make one easily enough.

I haven't looked closely at our cables, but I know some other cables on other cars that would be a bit difficult, mainly because of some of the other parts associated with the cables.

As for where to get them, I agree with CRE. You're best bet is probably Toyota, or you could try NAPA or some place like that. I've got e-brake cables for my AE86 from NAPA, they were about 1/3 the price of Toyota.

I haven't worked on the foward end of the MKIII's ebrake line. I recall thinking the back end wouldn't be hard to replace with a DIY cable... but yeah, a new assembly from NAPA shouldn't cost too much anyway and it'll drop straight in.
