Average of 3 runs was 268.7whp and 291ftlbs on the mustang dyno. Run was in 3rd gear.

Sorry but it's a compilation of the cars dynoed that day. Mines the only MK3 Supra Skip to 2.35 if you just want to see it

Nice vid but why 3rd, dynos are usually done in 4th or 1:1 gear ratio to get accurate readings?

Was this on stock turbo?

Not really sure. They were dynoing everything in 3rd. By some calculations he did he figured 3rd would be alright and the mustang loads the car pretty well.

Stock ct, stock intercooler and piping.

Mustang dynos will make the hp lower usually but that still does not mean you should dyno in 3rd. From what his cal i would be making around 350hp with a 57trim at same psi, which i know am about 290hp realistically.

From what I've read on other dyno operator's and people's experience, most find almost no difference in power. 3rd seems to result in later spool because of how the dyno loads the car but most people see no real difference. At the most 3-4hp and tq difference. He did enter the weight and engine displacement into the computer. A mustang rep. actually paid them a visit the day before to make sure everything was in order and it all checked out, so I dunno. :dunno:

Most of the other cars seemed on par with how Mustangs read. S2000 made 185, skyline made 330, that nasty mustang made 600ish, the 4 door civic SI made 160, and the stock 350z made 260.

Ya. Just seems odd to me as i have dynoed cars before and never once have i dynoed a car that wasnt in a 1:1 ratio. just seems odd to me.
