So today was Titan Motorsports 3rd annual open house and I decided to go this year. And i figured I would enter in the car show to rep the supra since it is Titan. So the car show fee was $20 and $30 with dyno and car show, so i said fuck it, i wanna see numbers on what i put into this car. 88 Supra 244 hp. shocking to me thinking i was going to be in the low 200's.

Mods: Full exhuast with Blitz Nur spec, Mishimoto intercooler, 3'' intercooler pipping, upgraded radiator, and new head gasket, stock ct-26 running 10 psi.

Not bad numbers at all. Gives me hope that mine should crack the 300hp barrier easily with the upgrades I've done on the motor rebuild..even at this high altitude...lol. I think it was at or close to it before that based on the butt-dyno, but I could've been wrong...never got to verify.

244 hmmm seems low..

Only reason I day the is you here people always say there close to or at 300whp at 12psi.

With basic mods.

Makes me doubt my car Alittle.

Add the average 15% drivetrain loss and it would put you up to 280hp to the crank. That's just about 50hp increase over stock. That sounds about right for your mods running 10psi on the stock CT26.

$30 to dyno is a steal. I would have done it too.

i missed the point that it was auto. but when people say that they hit 300whp on the stock ct26?? what more mods do they have to have.. i under the impression that a BPU 7M at 12psi would be able to get close to this

I guess my question is what would it take on a stock ct26 to get close to 300whp?

upgraded turbo (57 trim, 60-1, etc..), 550 injectors, lexus afm. These are just some small ones that can get you in the 300hp range.

Hmmm......Maybe i was not clear when i said Stock Turbo :)

And how much power does 550/lex gain you ... i wouldn't think much is you don't up the boost.... But i could be wrong. i can tell you i didn't see much of a difference.

So i was thinking it would have to come down to timing and tuning to gain the power ?

I'm did assume on 12psi with my setup i was around 330-350whp now i'm kind of doubting myself.

I should be close to what you are at Suprapowaz!(2)

although you are running a slighty smaller turbo

Garrett T4 60trim .70A/R divided turbine.

it being a T4 it should flow about the same if not better then my CT26 60-1 correct?

Something to consider, you won't lose as much power to altitude as a naturally aspirated car would. About the biggest difference is spool time, you give up a bit there...

Only if it is rather healthy running car. Even stock and healthy, it might not happen with the different head castings. Look at stock numbers. Quite a few 7MGTE 5 speed cars trapped 89-90 in the quarter, and that is it. Yet others did 95 (allegedly stock). TRD back in the day did a mild build with the A340E. They claimed 330 hp at 13 psi with exhaust, boost controller, and fuel cut override/enrichment. It went 97 in the quarter. Which is noticably faster than the 88 it did stock. But it still isn't 330 bhp. More like 285 when calculated, which is what HKS claimed those power levels would do.

Good stuff, I dynoed 248whp/250wtrq with turbo-back 3" exhaust, 11psi, 2.5" charge pipes, and stock ct26 with a nice broad, flat torque curve. You're on the right track. : )
