Ok well this was my first dyno ever, so I'm very pleased with the results....

Mods include:

- Freshly rebuilt stock motor/head, stock internals, new bearrings and oil pump witt HKS 1.2mm MHG, APR U/C Studs

- Turbo Concepts 61mm Turbo T3 footprint on stock manifold (modified flange adapter with external wastegate port)

- K&N Intake fed through custom 4" intake pipe to turbo, 3" full exhaust, custom downpipe, full 3" with boost-activated cut out just after downpipe to alleviate back pressure.

- Greddy RS BOV, Tial 40mm Wastegate w/1bar spring

- Big 24x4x12" intercooler with full custom 2.5" AL hardpipes

- Wallbro 255 with RC 550 injectors

- MAFTPRO with speed density and boost controller, AEM wideband.

Complete Specs here:

First few runs were interesting.... My turbo wanted to keep making lots of power, the spring in my wastegate is too stiff, so with the boost controller setup it spiked to 26psi running super super rich! That came in 491RWHP/472RWTQ.

We disabled the boost controller feature for now in the MAFTPRO (hence the delayed full spool shown on the graph) but we got it to dyno properly at a peak 411RWHP and 390RWTQ, which I am very happy with :)

The tranny seems to be holding up, doesn't slip much, but I don't plan on pushing it much yet until I can get a nice built unit. The A/F's bounce around a bit as I drive which is a little concerning to me (cruising on highway can be anywhere between 12.0-16.0) and I hit fuel cut sometimes at full boost around 15psi or so. Anyhow once I get the proper spring for my wastegate and we re-enable the boost-controller feature and retune it I hope to get those problems solved. The dyno they used was the kind where they physically bolt it onto the hubs of your axle, it's supposed to the most accurate dyno out there I guess.

Big shout out to Garage Works in Lancaster, CA (they're the garage that installed everything, they're very professional and did a fantastic job working on my car. Also Mattan at AWD Permformance/Tuning also in Lancaster who helped tune it and got it dyno'd. I'm very pleased with the results so far :)

is it just me, or does 14 for the A/F ratio seem a bit high for 4000rpm? Maybe I'm just no good at reading dyno graphs but that just doesn't seem right to me.

otherwise the numbers look great man! Nice smooth power curve, something I wish I had...lol

the A/F's are a little funny now. To be honest I have no clue how the damn thing works :( but I'm gonna read up on it and play with it... and when they get the new spring we'll reconfigure the the boost controller feature and retune.... and maybe we'll try using the auto-map feature where it locks in the A/F automatically or something...

I want to get the suprastick and get that programmed properly as well to control shift points, the turbo lag now keeps it from downshifting right away and so makes it lag even more when driving. Hopefully when we get the boost control worknig properly the turbo lag won't be as much.

I know what it ment was just being pedantic MAP Manifold ABSOLUTE Pressure would be 30.9 if he was running 16.2 psi boost pressure.

Good solid numbers there I would be happy to

Pedantic????? There you go, throwing your edumacation up in our face again.........;)

For those of you without a dictionary, it means: a person who shows off his learning; a formal, uninspired teacher.

very nice. the a/f ratio isnt too bad, like wedge pointed out. its just the ecu swinging from lean to rich trying to keep it all in check, overshooting a little every time.
