any how i made a flying run to Dallas for a motor for $150 and got a whole lot more :naughty:

here is the motor i got
some shots of the harness being changed out as well as the injectors and other odds and ends to make it ready to bolt in and plug up to my car
and some of the old harness and injectors that came out they will be shipped out to another MK III owner to keep his ride going
and remember the bay before ?

after i went to town with the power washer and gave it a bath and myself it must have lightened the car by 200# no kidding
and the one cheesy shot of me because i know what i am building ( the Honda guy down the street don't even know what he is in for when we hit the track :evil2: )
ant how that is the update as of today i go to the shop tomorrow and off load the motor from the truck and get it ready to stab and next Sunday it will drive its self home under its own power for the first time in who knows how long

got smashed in the rear,
so my buddy bought it to repair it and threw a bunch of different colored pieces on there, so it had some burgundy, couple different shades of white, ya know. then the next owner, and the previous owner, painted it with a shitty black macco job. so I'm repainting the whole thing dark mica green.

well the motor is out and their was a hole in the block under the exhaust lol will have pics tomorrow as we put the new motor in and fire it up

well here she is just puring along as happy as could be on old assed gas ...dont pay no attention to the duct tape had to get it home and my intake tube didn't show up yet
all is good on the gages it has a little low oil pressure but all my 7M's have done that to me
well any how after pulling the full rail again due to my fuck-up redoing the o-rings and doing the lower grommets it cured the vac leaks and the split o-rings i created when i put them in side note always use lube when seating injectors :naughty:

I know all about injector's leakin,
one of my o-rings was cracked when I reinstalled my injectors after my bhg repair and it was super loud and I couldn't figure it out for the hell of myself.

long time no update the red car was let go due to rust issues
now on to the soup of the day
86.5 stock with little issues
including the fan shroud just replaced that
have Ben working on it since i got it replaced lower ball joint, rack, windshield, upper control arm, struts, seats, and still chasing the exhaust leak i cant seem to lock down
also did a flush and new thermostat in it tonight had a t-stat but never wanted to warm up i guess it was getting old that and i need to locate a oil leak
but all in all it is int in bad shape just a lot of catch up on the maintenance
now on to the soup of the day
