Driver side halogen keeps dying

I have Sylvania Silverstar halogen lamps, the driver side one in particular keeps dying. I replaced it once then twice. I'm not sure of the problem. Nothing as far as the physical look of the wires seems damaged.

I thought it might have died because my alarm keeps going off for no apparent reason(which will be changed when I get a new alarmed installed.) Yet, the passenger side halogen is fine.

Any help will be appreciated.

Good Call. I went out again and it hit me that I used the wrong terminology in suggesting dead. Opposed to that, I should have stated that the driver side headlight is overwhelmingly underpowered compared to the passenger side. I'll give the ground a looking over. Time to find all the grounds.

Looks can be deceiving, Matt.
I'd test those wires with a digital voltmeter. See if there's any surplus of resistance.
I just cleaned up the grounds today on my Legacy and added a few extra 10awg wires.
From doing that, I noticed stock grounds are horrible on all cars. All grounds are 6mm bolts, grounded to paint. If you're lucky, they use a star washer to dig through the paint and actually touch bare metal.
Most rely on just the threads alone making the grounding.
Take a dremel with a sanding drum and clean off a good area for the grounds to actually contact. Clean the ring terminals as well.

Well gentlemen, I removed the battery and low and behold there was a broken wire. I fixed the wire with the solider iron. I then went through all the grounds and made metal to metal contact. I also made sure all the grounds were in good shape.

When I was done my passenger side was still underpower. Ummmm...
