Ok this may be a dead subject, but things change and i wanna see new drift set ups!!!
I dont need to hear how our cars are too heavy to get sideways... That is crap!!!
Yes understeer is going to be an issue for the mkiii along with other weight issues... Get over them!!!
I get my supra sliding quite often... anyone else with me???
Lets see pics of set ups and or any techniques....
I find third gear on my stock 1JZ to be very nice for longer turns entering at about 40mph, with a clutch kick... feather the throttle and i mean just feather it ,the heavy mkiii will use the momentum and it is very easy to oversteer so just relax and easy out of the drift... The MKIII will love to jurk into another direction due to to much countersteer, and baggy suspension!
Good Luck and if you need practice make sure you have tons of room... :naughty:
My Set Up:
Gutted in the rear
racing seats
1JZ
3" exhaust
MKIV N/A wheels
Kumho rubber
KYB struts
H&R springs
